One of these years I'll actually make it to YALC (Young Adult Literature Convention). It looks incredible and every year I get all excited for the wonderful authors and people who'll be there, and every year something comes up and I can't go. However through my disappointment this year I did see a list making opportunity, and I really love a good list.
Back when we first started this blog I wrote a post about the independently published books that had been listed for or won the Man Booker Prize, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to do the same for the list of authors attending YALC this year! We all need a whole load more books to add to our TBRs right? Of course many of the authors attending have equally brilliant books published by big publishers and we urge you to check them out here. As always, our aim is simply to highlight excellent work from independent publishers!

Because we think you're great we're giving someone the chance to win two books of their choice from this list (if the book on the list is not the first in a series you are definitely allowed to choose the first instead/as well)! Follow the title links to check out the synopsis of each book and then do as the Rafflecopter says to be in with a chance.
