There's not much as great as laying outside in the sun (or the shade, depending how you feel) with a great book all day, am I right? Summer is rapidly approaching and that means it's time for the 2018 edition of the Summer Reading Box!

Last year we produced our first Summer Reading box, and it was a definite learning experience. The general feedback we received from it though was that people liked the idea, and it's something we really loved doing, so we're bringing it back with just a few changes.
As with last year, are producing a one-off box (although it's going to be a brown paper parcel with ninjas on rather than the box, as the box is too big and would require a very wasteful amount of packaging to keep the books nice in transit) which will contain three excellent, independently published books from different genres to absorb you through the long summer evenings. We will also be including some challenges, ideas and ninja extras, but there will not be any additional gifts as there are in the quarterly boxes. There will also be the option to get a mini box and receive just one book.
One thing that is different from last year is that we will only be offering the 2018 Summer Reading box in the adult fiction edition. Although we love the idea of in the future being able to produce the YA, Kids, and Family editions that we did in 2017, unfortunately at the moment it just isn't cost effective for us. So basically the way to make that happen is to buy lots of boxes from us, and then we'll be able to broaden the range of things we're offering!
For 2018 we're working with three different publishers to include wonderful books that we think you will love. As they are from different genres there's definitely something for everyone, and we hope that you'll enjoy all three as much as we did. There is no overriding theme for this year's box, although once again all of the books contain different types of adventures and include all sorts of characters. What can we say? We love a bit of exploration and excitement this time of year!
We're producing a very limited number of these boxes and they are selling well, so there aren't many left! This box is not part of the quarterly or annual subscriptions, so subscribers will need to purchase it separately.
Boxes will start arriving towards the end of June, in time for summer holidays!
