Everybody loves a charm, at least that's what I've been telling myself as we've included them in every Ninja Book Box we've ever made. I love the little extra touch they give our boxes, and that you can of course put them onto a charm bracelet (as I know at least one of our subscribers has done), but if you're stuck for ideas, here are some other things you can do with your charm!
1. Put it on a keyring
Why not add a little bit of fun to your keys and put your charm on your keyring?
2. Turn it into a bookmark
You could do this in as simple a way as by tying your frog (or any charms, whether you got them from a Ninja Book Box or not) onto a piece of yarn, string or ribbon and voila. Bookmark.
3. Make a cushion or lavender bag
I'm aware that it's probably just me who'd expend this much effort towards this, but lavender bags are really pretty easy to make - crochet, knit or sew a little bag and stuff it with dried lavender. Then you can sew your charm on and use it as a decoration, put it under your pillow to help you sleep or keep your drawers smelling nice!
4. Add it to a dreamcatcher
Again, this one's a little bit extra but I like this tutorial on How to Make a Dreamcatcher, and there's nothing to stop you adding your charms to it as well as the traditional feathers and beads, especially if they're charms that have some special meaning to you.
5.Get a charm bracelet
While we wanted to provide some ideas for those who aren't excited by charm bracelets, I think it would be cool to have a book inspired charm bracelet. Maybe you could add charms for other favourite books too, or just keep adding to the bracelet each quarter when your box comes in!
We'd love to see what you do with yours - let us know in the Facebook group or using #ninjabookbox on social media.
